Dr. Neil Tanna is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with Northwell Health, the largest healthcare provider in New York. Outside of his busy clinical practice, he is a leader, educator and prolific author. Dr. Tanna also trains the next generation of medical professionals at the visionary Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. The school is built upon the strong clinical and graduate medical education programs of Northwell Health, Hofstra, and the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.
He serves as a Professor of Surgery at Zucker School of Medicine and Associate Program Director of Plastic Surgery at Northwell Health. In 2018, Dr. Tanna was promoted to the rank of Professor of Plastic Surgery, making him one of the youngest full professors at Northwell Health. This title was granted after rigorous internal and external review of Dr. Tanna’s extraordinary accomplishments. This rank has national significance, as the average full professor in the United States is 55 years old. Dr. Tanna strives to deliver high quality care to patients by trying to be one of the world’s best caregivers and foremost scholars.
