Emily Kalberer, NP
Emily Kalberer is a Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Senior Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) with the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwell Health. Emily completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Molloy College and later returned to earn her Master's Degree in Nursing. Emily received her board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Emily has extensive clinical experience working as a registered nurse in the Cardiothoracic ICU and Coronary Care Unit. Her experience in the Cardiothoracic ICU led her to obtain a role as a Nurse Practitioner in Thoracic Surgery at Northwell Health. Emily earned her RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) certification from the National Institute of First Assisting. Emily has extensive experience working in Plastic Surgery and caring for patients before, during, and after their surgery. Dr. Tanna and Emily share the same philosophy in that patient care should be individualized and tailored to fit the entire spectrum of a patient's needs. Emily's unique combination of experience, knowledge, and personal attention to detail is what enables her to provide exceptional and compassionate patient care to each and every one of her patients.

Peyton Law, PA-C
Physcian Assistant
Peyton is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C, MSPAS) with the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwell Health. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2025. Peyton takes pride in improving the patient experience by fostering a safe, compassionate environment where patients feel empowered to share both their concerns and goals. She enjoys providing individualized care that addresses each patient's unique needs during their surgical journey. She assists Dr. Tanna in the operating room and collaborates with the care team to manage pre-operative and post-operative care. As a Chicago native, she enjoys running and exploring different parks and neighborhoods around New York in her free time and is also a proud Chicago Bears fan.

Marie Roantree, NP
Marie Roantree is a passionate and devoted Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the Center for Prevention of Women’s Hereditary Cancer at Northwell Health. Marie, along with other key experts at Northwell, is part of the surgical team helping women with genetic predispositions to breast and ovarian cancer navigate their risk-reducing surgical care. Marie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University (TJU). After gaining nursing experience in multiple fields such as oncology, emergency and post-surgical recovery, Marie returned to TJU and obtained her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner. Marie has a deep appreciation of the courage it takes to proceed with risk reducing surgery, allowing personalized care options throughout the decision-making process before and after surgery.

Gabrielle Odoom, BA
Gabrielle Odoom serves as the current Surgical Scholar with Dr. Tanna and the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Northwell Health. Dr. Neil Tanna oversees a premedical, clinical gap year program with the Department of Surgery at Northwell Health. Each year, college graduates taking a gap year, but applying to medical school, are invited to interview for the competitive Surgical Scholar Program at Northwell Health. Gabrielle is the clinical gap year scholar for 2025 – 2026. She joins the program after graduating cum laude from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a minor in Public Health. As this year's Surgical Scholar, Gabby brings a strong background in translational research and women’s health advocacy. Her curiosity about surgical science and passion for clinical advancement motivate her goal of a career in academic surgery. During her gap year, Gabby is engaging in clinical research projects alongside faculty, residents, and medical students, exploring surgical techniques and patient outcomes. Gabby looks forward to learning from Northwell's healthcare team and contributing to the field of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery through collaborative research and patient education initiatives. Louis Cutignola
Louis Cutignola is Dr. Tanna’s account representative and manages billing inquires and the insurance authorization process. He has been in the medical profession for many years and has worked specifically in the plastic surgery field. His focus is in the attention to detail with an emphasis on accurate and timely clearance for patients to move forward with surgery. Louis is committed to assisting patients obtain detailed information through the authorization, claims, and appeals processes. It is his intention to provide education and understanding so our patients understand the full scope of what their benefits and billing entail.
