Dr. Neil Tanna is a Double Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with a practice focused on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and breast. Dr. Tanna is a leader in his field, a respected educator, and a prolific author. He currently serves as Vice President of Women’s Surgical Services at Northwell Health Glen Cove Hospital, founding Medical Director of the Northwell Health Syosset SurgiCenter, and Associate Program Director of Plastic Surgery at Northwell Health. In 2018, Dr. Tanna was promoted to the rank of Professor of Surgery with the Zucker School of Medicine, making him one of the youngest full professors at Northwell Health.

To achieve board certification as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Neil Tanna was required to meet the rigorous standards of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The ABPS is the only plastic surgery board approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties. It is the only board which certifies in the full spectrum of plastic surgery of the entire body, including head and neck, trunk and extremities. This is largely due to the level of training required to meet the qualifications for certification.
