This 36-year-old patient has a strong family history of breast cancer and tested positive for the CHEK 2 gene mutation. She opted to undergo a preventative bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy and simultaneous pre-pectoral implant-based breast reconstruction. The reconstruction was performed entirely through an inframammary (IMF) fold approach.
